LAQ Coaching Clinic

North Mackay Athletics, with the assistance of LAQ, is proud to host a Coaching Clinic on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of July. The sessions will be designed for under 9's and above. If your child is below this cut off, don't worry, as our Coaches will be mingling at our Centre day to meet everyone.

We are lucky enough to have 2 coaches and an OLYMPIAN!!! Here is a little about each of our volunteers:

	Cedric Dubler, is an Olympian, Commonwealth Games medallist and Australian national champion in the decathlon. A former Little Athletics member himself, Cedric has coached at numerous Little Athletics Queensland Clinics and is well qualified to take sessions in sprints, hurdles, jumps and throws events. 	Taneille Crase is also a former Little Athletics member and national and state medallist in multiple events. Taneille has more than 10 years’ coaching experience and is a well-known face at LAQ’s development clinics and camps where she specialises in sprints, hurdles and jumps events.
	LAQ Development officer and former Little Athletics member has run Little Athletics development clinics and LAPS sessions throughout Queensland for a number of years. He recently produced LAQ’s series of ten backyard videos designed to encourage children to practice basic running, jumping and throwing skills during the Covid 19 isolation.

COVID has limited our lead up to this years Coaching Clinic, but it is sure to be a Success with such Talented individuals giving up their time to visit and teach us what they know.
